At Stepping Stone Community Services, our team of dedicated mental health specialists understand the underlying effects of mental health including the strain on friends and families. Our friendly team is dedicated to helping you live a healthy life.
Bethany Latimer - M.ed., lpCC
Bethany is the Clinical Director and a therapist. She has over 10 years of experience in individual, couples and group counseling. She has a passion for helping others and has specialty training in treating trauma. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Kent State University, and a Master Degree in Education from John Carroll University. She has traveled to over 20 countries and enjoys learning about other cultures. She also speaks Spanish. Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children, playing sports and reading.
Marcelle maslowski - FNP
Marcelle has been working for over 5 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College. She has experience in a variety of mental health settings. She has returned to Ursuline College and is studying to acquire a certification in Psychiatric Mental Health. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children. She also likes to hike and go bike riding.
theodore laurence - peer support
Theodore has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Arizona State University. He has held a variety of positions in the health care field. He enjoys travel, hiking and watching sports.
linda walker - client’s rights officer
Linda has been with the company since its start and currently serves as the Client’s Rights Officer. She has a skill for taking feedback from clients and other members of the community and making positive organizational changes. She enjoys walking, studying philosophy and spending time with her husband, 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
sydney zebrasky - counseling intern
Sydney is a Kent State University student. She will graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She has a passion for working with children, which she has done professionally for the past 3 years. In her free time she enjoys reading Psychology books and playing sports.
Kelly Schneiders - FNP
Kelly has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2013. She obtained her Masters of Science from Malone University. She has experience in a variety of settings including long term care and case management in the community and home setting. When she is not at work or school she enjoys spending time with her family especially her husband and 4 year old son.
